SCZone Chairman says authority’s plan is to attract investors from all over the world

Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZone) Yehia Zaki said on Sunday that the authority had worked in 2020 on a study that aims at attracting new investments to the zone according to the 2020-25 vision that targets certain industrial sectors.


In a press release, he added that the authority’s plan also aims at providing more incentives to investors in order to attract them from all over the world.

The authority had also worked in the past period with the cabinet on finalizing amendments on a number of articles of the economic zones law, he added.

The amendments include various incentives to reach the SCZone’s goals that include attracting more foreign investments and enhancing imports replacement policy.
