Within the framework of discussing bilateral cooperation,SCZONE Chairman receives the Ambassador of Singapore to Cairo

Mr. Waleid Gamal El -Dien, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), received this morning at SCZONE’s HQ in the New Administrative Capital, Mr. Dominic Goh, Ambassador of Singapore in Cairo; This is to discuss bilateral cooperation in areas of common concern, and to identify the investment opportunities available within the Zone, whether in industrial and logistical zones or SCZONE affiliated Seaports. A number of SCZONE’s executive leaders attended this meeting.

“SCZONE presents a wealth of investment opportunities across 21 diverse industrial and logistical sectors, leveraging the vital integration of our six ports on the Mediterranean and Red Seas with our industrial zones to connect production bases to global markets. We are actively seeking to cooperate with Singaporean firms and are consulting with the Singapore Cooperation Enterprise (SCE) to adopt their advanced smart systems for port management; this collaboration is crucial for our digital transformation strategy, which will enhance governance, operational efficiency, and handling rates across our ports.” SCZONE Chairman declared
