Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), witnessed today at SCZONE’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital the signing ceremony of a new industrial project by “Fetouh Kuwait” Company. The project will be established within the scope of the industrial developer “Main Development Company – MDC”, in the Sokhna Industrial Zone. The facility will span 10,000 square meters, with investments amounting to USD 1.7 million (equivalent to EGP 86 million), and will focus on producing packaging materials. The agreement was signed by Admiral Waleid Youssef, Managing Director of Main Development Company, and Mr. Ahmed Fathy, Director of Fetouh Kuwait International.

It is worth noting that Fetouh Kuwait International is an Egyptian-Kuwaiti partnership with 18 years of experience in the distribution and supply of consumer goods. The new factory in Sokhna will be established in partnership with a specialized Chinese company and is expected to provide 30 job opportunities in its first phase.
