“I express my appreciation to all our success partners, including companies and investors, for their essential role in transforming the dream of developing Qantara West Industrial Zone into a reality. The 1st phase of Qantara West development project has, to date, including both projects signed today, resulted in a total of 17 projects, ranging from final contracts to the commencement of construction. These projects represent total investments reaching $504.5 million and cover a total area of 1,098,800 square meters. Furthermore, they are projected to create 24,700 direct job opportunities, all achieved in less than 2 years. This accomplishment is the culmination of SCZONE’s efforts in promoting the zone and attracting investments, to the extent that it has become a promising destination for the ready-made garment and textile industries, in addition to food industries and agribusiness. What distinguishes Qantara West Zone is its unique geographical location, the availability of trained technical labor, and its integration with seaports, which grants it a competitive advantage as a focal point for launching into regional and global markets.” Stated SCZONE Chairman alongside the signing ceremony
“SCZONE plays an active role in enhancing infrastructure readiness and providing the necessary facilities. These include the provision of logistical services and the simplification of licensing procedures, which contribute to creating a stimulating and integrated investment environment. These efforts bolster SCZONE’s standing as a global industrial and logistical hub through a system of diverse economic incentives, both direct and indirect.” Added H.E. Waleid Gamal El-Dien
