The 2nd project of the East Ismailia area in Sinai, SCZONE Chairman signs a contract for construction of the “Industrial House” project for building materials with investments of $ 12m

Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), signed this morning with Mr. Yasser Ayoub, Chairman of “Industrial House” for Building Materials, a usufruct contract for the construction of the second project in the Technology Valley Zone “East Ismailia” in Sinai. This project aims to establish a factory for gypsum products with three production lines: (a gypsum board production line, another for plaster pipe, and a third producing plastic bags for packaging). The project’s total investments are $ 12 million (more than EGP 600 million), located on an area of 50,000 square meters, while the project provides a volume of 500 direct jobs.

These efforts culminated in the successful attraction of two actual projects in the metal industries and building materials sectors with a total investment of $ 17 million, a total area of 85,000 square meters, and 650 direct jobs so far to start the development of the promising Industrial Technology Valley Zone inside Sinai. This success comes as a result of the continuous work to create an investment climate within the economic zone by providing world-class infrastructure and facilities while working on the full digitization of investor services, whether one-stop services or customs and logistics services, with the direct support of the political leadership and all state institutions, as well as success partners from investors, to activate SCZONE’s strategy towards empowerment.” SCZONE Chairman declared

“Industrial House” plans through its factory in the Technology Valley “Ismailia East”, which includes three production lines for the production of gypsum panels with a production capacity of 2 square meters per year up to four million square meters with the full operation of the project, as well as the production of gypsum sucked with a capacity of 600 thousand tons per year up to 900 thousand square meters, in addition to the production of 60 million bags per year that can be increased. The company allocates more than 80% of the production for export abroad, benefiting from the integration between the Technology Valley Zone and the East Port Said port of SCZONE.
