SCZONE’s chairman participated in the African investment day on behalf of the Egyptian Prime Minister

Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), participated, today, in the African Investment Day Forum, in the presence of several African countries’ ambassadors, and officials of some African and foreign organizations. In his speech, on behalf of the Egyptian Prime Minister, Gamal El-Din confirmed that Africa has Promising investment opportunities, describing it as a land of opportunities, as it has enormous natural resources that we can exploit well in several industrial economic sectors, in addition to the new and renewable energy, and other factors as well as its human cadres. These factors indicate real growth opportunities in Africa in the coming years.

“Africa enjoys an abundance of raw materials that can be easily converted into manufactured products, which greatly drives economic growth and development in the continent. Egypt also plays a pivotal role as a regional center for crossing the African continent, as it provides easy access to African markets, as well as being a center for promoting investment in the countries of the African continent. Egypt is working to enhance cooperation with African countries, and open broad horizons for cooperation in various economic fields.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, chairman of SCZONE, declared.

After the end of the speech, the chairman of SCZONE witnessed the signing of a protocol between Bayti and Git Zone International for joint cooperation.
