SCZONE participates in the Opening ceremony of the Third International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE III)

The General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) announced its participation in the opening ceremony and activities of the third edition of the International Manufacturing Convention and Exhibition (IMCE), organized by the Federation of Egyptian Industries. The event is held under the patronage of H.E. President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi and attended by Prime Minister Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, with SCZONE represented through its official pavilion at the Egypt International Exhibition Center in Cairo.

This significant participation underscores SCZONE’s commitment to its strategic principles of partnership and integration, which it actively implements to establish itself as a premier global investment destination. It also aligns with SCZONE’s ongoing efforts to promote its capabilities at international events, particularly those focused on sectors targeted for localization within SCZONE.

“The International Exhibition and Forum for Industries is a window for communication with investors and manufacturers participating in the exhibition, to exchange insights on topics of common interest. It also helps to spread the knowledge about SCZONE and its more than 400 industrial and service establishments serving 21 industrial and logistical sectors targeted to be localized in SCZONE’s strategy. The exhibition is also an opportunity to enhance cooperation with participating institutions and entities from the public and private sectors, which intersect in their scope of work with SCZONE to discuss the best ways to achieve comprehensive economic development.” SCZONE Chairman declared

“Localizing the industry and supporting investors are key priorities on which SCZONE underpins its strategic vision. SCZONE is making many efforts in the industry file, as it cooperates with its developers to establish Plug & Play factories, in addition to providing various alternatives to industrial lands and logistics zones supported by world-class facilities and infrastructure. We emphasize the most important competitive advantages SCZONE enjoys, whether in terms of integration between the industrial zones and ports, free and international trade agreements, incentives and tax and customs exemptions, all of which support the promotion of exports to global markets, as well as human capital represented by qualified technical labor and the availability of energy sources at competitive prices.” H.E. added

It is worth mentioning that the annual international forum and exhibition for industry is one of the largest events organized by the Federation of Egyptian Industries. Its first edition came in October 2022 to coincide with the 100th anniversary of the establishment of the Federation of Egyptian Industries. The forum aims to discuss the challenges facing the industrial sector and mechanisms to address them. It also supports the promotion of investment and the achievement of economic development, in addition to activating partnerships and cooperation with economic and industrial entities in various countries.
