SCZONE Chairman concludes U.S. tour emphasizing its role as a hub for global trade and industry

Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority for Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), and the accompanying delegation concluded their U.S. promotional tour with a series of meetings and a roundtable with leading American companies. The day began with a roundtable hosted by the Prince George’s County Economic Development Corporation, where SCZONE’s competitive advantages, investment incentives, and export potential were presented.

The delegation also met with Honeywell to discuss industrial automation, energy transition, and energy storage, and with Dragon Line on the manufacturing of mobile drip and pivot irrigation systems.

The tour included meetings and discussions with entities in sectors such as advanced technology, sustainable energy, pharmaceuticals, logistics, advanced manufacturing, and smart agriculture, reaffirming SCZONE’s role as a strategic platform for global trade, industrial development, and sustainable investment, thereby strengthening Egypt’s connections to regional and international markets.
