Engineer Yahia Zaki, Chairman of the Suez Canal Economic Zone, received the Ambassador of Belgium to Cairo, Francois Cornet Delsius, in the context of supporting and promoting the projects currently taking place in the economic zone and identifying investment opportunities to attract more diverse foreign investments.
During the meeting, SCZONE Chairperson expressed his appreciation for this visit, which confirms the interest of the Belgian side in the investment opportunities in the Economic Zone, and to see the development plans in the ports .
Ambassador Francois Delezius expressed his happiness for this visit, and what he saw from a progress in the road network and the power stations during his visit to the zone’s headquarters in Sokhna, Adding: “You are lucky with President Sisi, as he is a very active president, for what his excellency did of ongoing reform and modernization processes in Egypt and the establishment of many smart cities.
