A Russian delegation and investors visit Sokhna to check RIZ zone

A high- ranked Russian delegation; from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, National Institution for Development, in addition to Russian companies and investors visit the Russian Industrial site in Sokhna today at SCZone.

Suez Canal Economic Zone announced in a press release, the success of the discussions and negotiations with the Russian side during a visit for the chairman of SCZone by the end of last July, about expanding the Russian Industrial Zone to include East Port Said, and Sokhna zone.

The final contract will be signed for establishing a company that manage Russian Industrial zone by the end of this year.” Eng. Yehia Zaki Chairman of SCZone said.

Moreover, He mentioned in a statement that the zone receives requests from Russian investors to invest in Sokhna in various industrial sectors .

The Russian Delegation took a tour inside the industrial zone, in order to start the first stage of the Russian investments in a distance of 1million square meters in the East of Port Said and 500 thousand meters in Sokhna, of a total area of 5 km.
