Investments worth $4.49 million..SCZONE Chairman signs contract for Korean ready-made garments project “Samil Solution” in Qantara West Industrial Zone

In a significant step for the development of Qantara West Industrial Zone, Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dein, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), signed today a contract with Samil Solution Co., Ltd, a leading Korean manufacturer of knit and woven garments. The company will establish a new factory in Qantara West Industrial Zone, covering 21,000 m², with total investments of USD 4.49 million (EGP 212 million).

The project aims to produce 8.8 million pieces annually, targeting 100% exports to global markets, and will create about 1,000 direct job opportunities.

Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dein welcomed the Korean company’s investment, emphasizing that Samil Solution’s investment strengthens the textile and garment industries in Qantara West and reflects growing investor confidence in SCZONE’s industrial environment.

 He added that Qantara West Industrial Zone now hosts 46 projects on a total area of 2,858,400 m², with total investments of USD 1.185 billion, providing 63,165 direct job opportunities, representing investments from 8 different countries.
