With an Investment of $4.5 Million ,, SCZONE Chairman Inks Contract for “Gold Star Fashion” Ready-Made Garment Manufacturing Project in Qantara West Industrial Zone


This morning, at the headquarters of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE) in the New Administrative Capital, Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE, signed a contract for the Chinese company Gold Star Fashion, a specialist in fashion design and garment manufacturing. The company aims to produce high-quality fashion products at competitive prices. The total investment cost of the project amounts to $4.5 million, covering an area of 23,000 square meters within Qantara West Industrial Zone, and is expected to create 2,000 job opportunities. Additionally, 100% of the production will be exported to international markets. The contract was signed by Mr. Han ShiQin, Chairman of the company.

Notably, the textile and garment manufacturing projects in Qantara West Industrial Zone, affiliated with SCZONE, have reached 12 projects, forming an integrated industrial complex that includes the design, spinning, production, printing, and dyeing of garments and textiles, in addition to a luggage manufacturing project. The export rate of these projects ranges between 90% and 100% of total production, positioning Qantara West Industrial Zone as a global industrial hub capable of meeting the needs of various regional and international markets in this sector.
