With investments of $3.3 million US, equivalent to EGP167 million,, SCZONE’s chairman inks a contract for a project to assemble poultry equipment in the Qantara West Industrial Zone


Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), signed the contract for the “United Trade Co for Poultry Equipment” project, in the Qantara West Industrial Zone, today, at SCZONE’s headquarters in the Administrative Capital, with total investments amounting to $3.3 million, equivalent to EGP 167 million, to establish a project that aims to assemble poultry breeding and production line equipment, on an area of ​​9,800 square meters, providing 100 direct job opportunities. The contract was signed by Mr. Ayman El-Saeed, Director of the United Company for Equipment Assembly Poultry.

” The Qantara West Industrial Zone is one of the promising areas in the field of food industries and agricultural manufacturing, as it is characterized by its proximity to fertile agricultural lands, transportation networks, and ports, which facilitates the access of raw materials and products to local and global markets. It can contribute to enhancing the added value of agricultural products, as well as agrarian manufacturing, and provides an attractive investment environment for food projects, supported by advanced infrastructure and investment incentives, which helps achieve food security, create job opportunities, and support the local economy.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE declared

” This project reflects SCZONE’s commitment to localizing the poultry equipment industry to save import costs from abroad and attracting quality investments that contribute to supporting local production chains, as this project provides integrated solutions for poultry farms by assembling and manufacturing equipment with the latest technologies, which contributes to raising production efficiency and improving the quality of Egyptian products. It is worth noting that the “United Company for Poultry Equipment Assembly” project is the 13th project in the Qantara West Industrial Zone and its second project in the food industry after the Turkish “Saray Bisküvi ve Gıda San. A.Ş” Company project. Thus, the total number of projects in the Qantara West Industrial Zone is 13, with a total investment of $514.3 million.nd public services).
