*“SCZONE consists of 4 industrial zones and 6 seaports on the Mediterranean Sea and the Red Sea. Egypt’s vision aims to maximize the benefits of SCZONE’s capabilities by equipping it with a world-class infrastructure, in addition to the strategy of integration between ports and industrial and logistical zones, which provided a model to support supply chains and the movement of international trade and industry. Consequently, this readiness contributed to making SCZONE a futuristic hub for fuel industries, in addition to the strategic location and readiness of seaports that enabled it to provide ship’s bunkering services with fossil fuels and green fuels. SCZONE has various targeted sectors, including 21 industrial and service sectors, such as food, pharmaceutical, and automotive.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE declared.
“With the diversity of incentives through direct and indirect financial incentives, and exemptions for exported goods, SCZONE became a center for international economic cooperation, as it provides a favorable environment for investment and encourages the business community, which led to the existence of many international partnerships that represent success stories and included cooperation in the industrial and logistical fields, as well as the fields of training technical workers, and digitizing investor services.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE added.
On the other hand, the delegation was delighted to visit SCZONE and inspect Sokhna Port’s expansion to increase its capacity, along with the various industrial and logistical centers.
