Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority of the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), received the Brazilian Ambassador to Cairo, Mr. Paulino Franco de Carvalho Neto, at SCZONE’s headquarters in the New Administrative Capital to discuss means of cooperation between SCZONE and Brazil in aspects of common interest, especially regarding industrial activities and the field of green fuel. SCZONE seeks more cooperation with the BRICS countries within the framework of Egypt’s accession to this economic bloc.
“We appreciate your visit, as this communication paves the way for further cooperation in multiple fields with the Brazilian business community. SCZONE is ready to receive various types of industries and provide various maritime services through its affiliated ports. We exerted a great effort to enhance the integration between the ports and the industrial zones and facilitate the process of transporting raw materials and products to and from manufacturing areas. I assure SCZONE’s keenness to provide financial and non-financial incentives that are attractive and supportive to investors. We also trying our hardest to accelerate the pace of green fuel production to support decarbonization practices in the industrial and marine time activities.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE declared.
