Dr. Reda Hegazy, The Minister of Education and Technical Education, and Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of the General Authority for the Suez Canal Economic Zone (SCZONE), witnessed the laying of the foundation stone for El Sewedy & Banque Misr Technical Academy, within SCZONE’s Sokhna integrated zone.
El Sewedy and Banque Misr Technical Academy aims to deliver dual technical education and vocational training programs for technical workers and qualify them to work in industrial projects established within the Sokhna industrial zone. The Academy was established within the framework of SCZONE’s vision to qualify technical laborers and train them on the latest technologies, especially those who will be employed with specific criteria commensurate with the requirements of the projects established within the industrial zone.
“SCZONE prioritizing the creation of job opportunities and qualifying technical labors, as we seek to localize several targeted industries within SCZONE’s strategic vision that includes 21 industrial and services sectors. the establishment of El Sewedy & Banque Misr Technical Academy comes in consistent with SCZONE demand by qualifying trained workers for various industrial and logistical projects, as the academy is based on %80 practical training in partner factories and 20% for theoretical education. El Sewedy & Banque Misr Technical Academy provide Dual education programs (technical and vocational training) for students, which represents an added value to SCZONE by preparing qualified human cadres according to the highest international standards, especially, the future industries such as the green fuel industry and its complementary industries, the manufacture of electrolyzers, solar panels and others, in light of SCZONE’s aspiration to be a regional hub for this industry due to its capabilities that enable it to manufacture, export and take the lead of green bunkering in the MENA region.” Mr. Waleid Gamal El-Dien, Chairman of SCZONE stated
